Andrea Joy Cook

A.J. Cook is a Canadian actress best known for her roles in the feature films The Virgin Suicides (1999) as well as Final Destination 2 (2003) as well as for her character in the role of Jennifer JJ Jareau in the tv drama series Criminal Minds. Her television credits comprise Dead Like Me and Tru Calling. Other shows on television are Goosebumps, Elvis Meets Nixon, In His Father's Shoes, Laserhawk, Island Heat, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, Higher Ground, Bluemoon, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor, Goosebumps, PSI Factor. She's also been in Blood Suckers II and The House Next Door. Cook was brought up in Whitby in Ontario by her parents Sandra and Mike Both of whom were school teachers. Cook grew up alongside her three other siblings Angela, Nathan and Paul. Her family was one of the Mormon and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In her early years, she picked up tap dancing, ballet and jazz lessons. She had been in many dance competitions but it was not until she reached 17 years of age when she began to consider acting. Dirty Dancing, starring Patrick Swayze was the catalyst for Cook to be an actor. Then, in August 2001 Cook married her long-time boyfriend Nathan Andersen, whom she was introduced to during a film course on film at Utah Valley University.
