Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor and model who has a particular interest in Indian films. In 2006, her Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also won by her. Hailing from a multiracial family that includes Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian heritage, Fernandez spent the early phase of her career in Bahrain. Her degree is in mass communications at the University of Sydney. She spent a long time as a reporter on TV within Sri Lanka before she entered the modeling world. Following her participation in Miss Universe 2006, she has become one of the top model in Sri Lanka. Her role as Jasmine was cast in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Aladin' during her 2009 professional tour of India. In 2011 she was scouted for the part of Priya, the female lead of "Murder 2". The film received commercial and critical success, creating a lucrative profession for Fernandez. Seit then she has appeared in movies such as Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear, and Judwaa 2 She serves as the ambassador for many companies and has earned many prizes.
