Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her work in the Fox medical show, House. Following her upbringing by Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study theater at Tisch. But very soon she began to be active in the club scene and made enough noise to be noticed by the press, concurrently, becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. She eventually used her experience and fame to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me in which she played a role in. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment. When the show ended, she went on to work in movies and television productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get smaller roles, and then became established gradually as an actor.
