LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 is an professionally-trained American basketball player. He is known as King James and is considered as one of the most successful basketball players in history. James was awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs, three All-Star MVPs and the two Olympic medals. James holds the record for having the top number of points scored in the postseason, second highest all-time score, and the 7th most career assists. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The third-highest number in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011-2018. In 2021, James was chosen to join the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first athlete to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 points or more in a career in rebounds and assists. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hypnotized by media. A prep-to-pro, he was picked for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of the 2003 NBA draft. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly became one of league's top players, and won the NBA MVP in both 2009 and the year 2010. James signed a free-agent contract following his failure to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent moves in sports history.
