Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. She is half English, the other half Spanish. Her parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children, four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and that she didn't learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in shows. After 16 she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to be a model.
